Tony Lea, Director
Anthony “Tony” Lea joined the Camp Wesley Woods staff in March of 2015 as Director. He previously served as the Executive Director of Jamestown 4-H Educational Center in Williamsburg, VA. Prior to that he worked at camps in Arizona, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. He has worked in a variety of roles in camping, including that of Challenge Course Director, Equestrian Director, Community Director, and Group Services Director. His personal mission is to follow God’s calling by dedicating his talents and experiences to change lives for eternity. He is a graduate of the University of Ballarat with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Sciences. He and his wife Patrice have four young children. Melissa Hutchinson, Outdoor Education Director
Melissa began working as the Camp's Outdoor Education Director in June 2013. Her responsibilities include overseeing our outdoor education program, working closely with schools to create an outstanding educational experience at Camp Wesley Woods. Before coming to Wesley Woods, Melissa worked as the Youth Program Coordinator at The Wintergreen Foundation in Central Virginia. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of Evansville in biology & chemistry, and a master's degree from Antioch University New England in environmental studies, with an emphasis on environmental education. Anna Gaultney, Adventure Coordinator
Anna is our full-time Adventure Coordinator and part-time Camp Historian. Anna began her illustrious career at Camp Wesley Woods in the summer 1980 as a CIT. Except for a two-year break as a Volunteer in the Peace Corps in the mid-1980s, Anna has been working at camp continuously since this time in a variety of positions. She graduated from University of Tennessee in 1984 with a degree in Animal Husbandry and Agriculture. Anna enjoys paddling, hiking, gardening, wearing climbing ropes on her head, and sewing in her free time. Email Anna.
Patrice Lea, Summer Camp Specialist
Patrice is the Summer Camp Specialist tasked with running the Summer Camp Ministry for 2017. She has over 20 years of Summer Camp experience, and has worked as a Camp Counselor, Program Area Director, Program Director, Camp Specialist and interim Camp Director. Most recently, Patrice has been the CIT Director at Camp Wesley Woods for the past two summers. Patrice has her BS in Biology from Cook College, Rutgers University and is a native of New Jersey. Patrice and Tony (Camp Director) have been married for 18 years and live on camp property with their four children. Patrice balances homeschooling her children with planning Summer Camp. Her hobbies include anything having to do with camp, camping, paddling, crochet, croquet, and sleeping when possible. Email Patrice.
Teresa Cogburn, Office Manager
Teresa began working at Camp Wesley Woods in 1982, as a summer camp counselor. She worked as our Office Manager from 1988-2002, when she left to raise her two boys. She began working again as the Office Manager in fall of 2016. She handles the day-to-day administrative duties in the camp office, as well as the retreat reservations. She graduated from Hiwassee College 1992 with a degree in Church Worker Technology, and Johnson Bible College in 1987 with a degree in Bible/Youth Ministry/Christian Education. Diana Raggett, Food Service Director
Diana began working as Camp's Food Service Manager in May of 2014. Her responsibilities include menu design, meal preparation, and working with dietary needs. She has a degree in culinary arts from Le Cordon Bleu. Prior to joining the staff at Camp Wesley Woods, she was an Executive Chef with Aramark. She enjoys fishing, hunting, and bonfires, and she has two dogs: Reese and Bristol. Email Diana.
Jim Bleidorn, Facilities Manager
Jim has served as Facilities Manager at Camp Wesley Woods since December of 2007. In this position Jim is responsible for maintaining the camp's facilities, roads and grounds, and equipment. Prior to joining the staff at Camp Wesley Woods, Jim worked in a variety of maintenance positions. Jim is a veteran having served in the United States Coast Guard. Jim has two children, three step-children, and three grandchildren. His wife Rebecca works for Associates Closing and Title. Email Jim.
